Milio’s sandwich shops can’t make payroll due to COVID-19

Madison-based Milio’s informed employees on March 26 that because of the COVID-19 crisis, it would not be able to make payroll, according to a story from the Wisconsin State Journal.

The sandwich chain has 20 company-owned stores in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota. 

Company President Michael Liautaud said he is also not taking a paycheck and that it is too early to know when employees could expect their checks.
