Atlanta-based Westwood Development and local partner JLA Architects have scaled back the size of their multifamily housing project slated for the 700 block of East Mifflin Street in Madison after the neighborhood balked at the density of the proposed 250-unit building. A revised plan now includes about 190 market-rate apartments on a piece of land currently used as a parking lot for cranes owned by Reynolds Transfer and Storage Co.
