Midwest Prototyping expands to Colorado

In its first out-of-state acquisition, Blue Mounds-based Midwest Prototyping has expanded to Westminster, Colorado following the acquisition of Tenere Inc.’s former rapid prototyping division. Tenere, a contract manufacturer of custom metal and plastic components and assemblies, ended its rapid prototyping services earlier this year. According to a release, Midwest Prototyping is one of the nation’s largest independent additive manufacturing service bureaus. Steve Grundahl is president and founder.
