The Midwest Horse Fair will return to Madison’s Alliant Energy Center Friday, April 11-Sunday, April 13. The top three-day horse fair in America, the event has been held since 1979 and generates proceeds that benefit the Wisconsin Horse Council to bolster the state’s equine industry.

Last year’s 43rd annual event saw record attendance, with nearly 60,000 fairgoers and 400 exhibitors. It has an estimated $11 million economic impact on the Madison area annually with spending at local hotels and other businesses.

The fair opens at 8 a.m. each day, closing at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. It will feature competitions, maker’s clinics, several exhibitors, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rodeo and more. Click here for a full schedule of fair events.
