Midwest Horse Fair director sentenced to probation

Rhonda Reese, 53, the former executive director of the Midwest Horse Fair, was sentenced to three years of probation, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.

Reese, formerly of Columbus, plead no contest to five misdemeanors and a felony stemming from her embezzlement of nearly $239,000 from the organization over a period of more than five years. Circuit Judge Andrew Voigt, agreeing to follow the terms of a plea agreement, did not enter a judgment of conviction on the felony count.
