The Milwaukee Business Journal reports that there could be a revival of Midwest Express Airlines at Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport thanks to a business owner in the Fox Valley.

Reportedly, Curt Drumm, owner of Lakeshore Aviation in Manitowoc, has been working on a plan to revive the airline since January.

In its heyday, Midwest Express was a locally favored carrier known for two-by-two seating, customer care, and chocolate chip cookies.

“So much of that went away, and hasn’t come back,” notes the airline’s website, which also promises “convenient destinations for business travelers, roomy seats, Wi-Fi and friendly people who care about you.”
