Middleton’s Vin Santo Italian family restaurant, which was slated to open one year ago following its 2020 pandemic shutdown, will not reopen, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.

The restaurant, at 7462 Hubbard Ave., was forced to temporarily close in September 2020 with COVID-19 protocols, although it did open briefly from May 2020 through part of September 2020 with seating and distance restrictions.

The restaurant’s reopening was continuously pushed back before owner Gregg Edwardsen made the recent announcement that Vin Santo would not open its doors again.
