Middleton’s Fond Blanc Foundation will host its ninth annual Rally on the Runway fundraiser this Friday to support the foundation’s work in Fond Blanc, Haiti, NBC15 reports.

The country of Haiti has had a “do not travel, level four” advisory from the U.S. State Department for nearly three years, and at the end of July, the U.S. government ordered nonemergency government employees to immediately evacuate the country. It has prevented the Fond Blanc Foundation from visiting as it supports children in the Haitian village, but the foundation’s support continues.

The organization is aiming to build a medical clinic for people in Fond Blanc, who are currently trying to create a sustainable ecosystem of gardens and farms, so that they will not have to enter the larger Port-au-Prince city, controlled 80% by gangs currently.

Rally on the Runway will be held in the Capital Flight Hangar at the Morey Airport from 7–11 p.m. Additional information and donation opportunities can be found online.
