Bicycle retailer Wheel & Sprocket has purchased the assets and inventory of Middleton Cycle from its long-time owner, Dan Fass. The acquisition marks the retailer’s first venture into the Madison market.
The 5,200-square-foot Middleton store at 6641 University Ave. will close Nov. 26 for remodeling and open next spring as Wheel & Sprocket’s ninth location, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Terms were not disclosed, but Fass will continue to own the property.
