The Middleton-Cross Plains School District is seeking bus drivers for the upcoming school year, according to NBC15.
The district is one of three in Dane County that has in-house transportation but has experienced delays in getting children to school over the year as well as the transfers or retirements of some drivers.
The district is looking to hire up to eight drivers with starting pay of $24 per hour. It will offer fully paid training, so no prior experience is needed.
The district will host a virtual meeting tonight at 6 p.m. with further information provided.
