Helbachs Coffee Roasters and Kitchen in Middleton has filed a lawsuit in Dane County Circuit Court against the city, county, and local officials attempting to enforce a local and statewide face mask mandate, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.
The shop declared that it was a “mask-free zone” and states the mask ordinance that took effect on July 13 is illegal. Required face coverings inside businesses is a measure to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
