Microsoft announced its revenue for the fourth quarter of 2025, and it exceeded expectations.

Revenue was up 17% to $81.3 billion from the same period last year, mostly thanks to AI, the Associated Press reports.

Analysts initially expected revenue to reach $80.31 billion.

The company reported a net profit of $30.9 billion for the quarter, or $4.14 per share. Analysts had expected Microsoft to earn $3.91 per share.
