Microsoft announced Monday it will ship Nvidia’s most advanced artificial intelligence chips to the United Arab Emirates, according to the Associated Press.
The deal was approved by the U.S. Commerce Department in September under safeguards to enable the company to ship over 60,000 Nvidia chips. Of those chips, the UAE will receive the GB300 Grace Blackwell, an advanced Nvidia chip that will be used for data centers in the Middle Eastern country.
Microsoft has laid out a plan to invest $15.2 billion in technology in the UAE.
