Gary Wolter, president and CEO of MGE Energy and its subsidiary, Madison Gas & Electric, announced his plans to retire on March 1, 2017.
Jeffrey Keebler, senior vice president of energy supply and planning, has been named as his successor. After his departure, Wolter will remain on as chairman of the boards of both MGE and MGE Energy.
