For the fourth quarter ending Dec. 31, MGE Energy saw an increase in earnings of almost 8%, with net income of $15.2 million (44 cents/share) on revenues of $145.7 million. That compares favorably with the same quarter in 2013, when net income was $14.1 million (41 cents/share) on revenues of $155.3 million.
For all of 2014, the utility company’s net income came in at $80.3 million ($2.32/share) on revenues of $619.9 million, up from 2013’s $74.9 million ($2.16/share) on revenues of $590.9 million.
