MGE gets cited for pipeline violations

The Public Service Commission cited Madison Gas & Electric (MGE) for several safety violations involving some of the utility’s natural gas pipeline network.

According to a Wisconsin State Journalstory, violations range from corroded pipes to missed safety inspections. The company has 45 days to respond and is working with the PSC to correct the issues, according to a company spokesperson.
