In June, Roundy’s will open a Metro Market, not a Copps grocery store, in the Grandview Commons neighborhood. The 58,000-sq.-ft. market, downsized from a more controversial 62,000-sq.-ft. store, will focus more on fresh produce, prepared foods, and meat, according to reports. Roundy’s has three other Metro Market grocery stores in the Milwaukee area, but this will be the first in Madison.
