Meta Platforms will cut about 10% of its workforce mostly at the managerial level, while also cancelling thousands of open positions, Yahoo reported.
It will also move over 7,000 workers into roles focused on AI projects.
The move is designed to allow Meta to focus on generative AI, recommendation systems and automation as more companies pursue AI products.
