Wisconsin’s Merrimac ferry is open for the 2024 season, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. Known officially as COLSAC III, the ferry connects Highway 113 between Columbia County’s Okee and Sauk County’s Merrimac.

The ferry typically runs from around April–November, 24 hours, seven days per week, with a closure on Wednesdays from 9–10 a.m. to refuel.

The ferry can hold up to 15 cars at once, along with pedestrians and bicyclists, and takes about seven minutes to cross.
