In a just-released report, Christopher M. Kaphaem, 43, is the suspended Meriter Newborn Intensive Care Unit nurse charged with abusing nine infants between March 2017 and February 2018.
According to an article in the Wisconsin State Journal, Kaphaem, a Meriter nurse for 14-plus years, has been charged with 19 felonies related to injuries to nine infants harmed.
Kaphaem was suspended in February. He was released on signature bond and will be back in court on Oct. 15.
