Melly Mell’s, a deli and catering business that makes soul food, has been open since 2010. It began as a restaurant then a catering business before returning to the market as a restaurant.
MPM’s 202 N. First St. location is a 45,000-square-foot year-round marketplace, decades in the making. It aims to support local entrepreneurs, offer a community gathering space and bolster the regional food economy.
