A new restaurant called The Mediterranean Joint opened Tuesday in the former Poke Poke spot at 600 Williamson St., the Wisconsin State Journal reports. Ender Erk is the restaurant’s owner, and his brother, Bunyamin Erk, is its chef.
The restaurant’s menu includes gyro meat on a rotisserie, falafel, meat kebobs, chicken shawarma, and a number of vegan appetizers. Customers order at the counter, and food is brought out to the tables.
The Mediterranean Joint is open 10 a.m.–11 p.m. from Sunday–Wednesday and 10 a.m.–3 a.m. from Thursday–Saturday.
