The Wisconsin Medical Examining Board (MEB) and the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) are now working with CE Broker to track continuing education for Wisconsin licensed physicians.

The MEB is not requiring licensed physicians to use CE Broker at this time; however, the board is encouraging its use to track required continuing education. CE Broker will also be the primary tool used to conduct compliance audits for physician license renewals, including any audits this coming spring.

Using this new tool will be free of cost to Wisconsin physicians, who can sign up for a free CE Broker basic account to access everything needed to track continuing education and stay in compliance with requirements.

Key features of a basic account:

  • Digital tracking to access complete continuing education course history, store certificates, and check compliance status anytime;
  • Course search to find all courses needed to successfully complete license renewal requirements;
  • Easy reporting, with most education providers automatically reporting course completions and the option for physicians to self-report any missing credits by uploading proof of completion; and
  • Support from a CE Broker team of experts, available Monday–Friday via live chat, email, and phone.

Physicians also have the option to upgrade, for a fee, to higher-level accounts that offer services beyond those offered through the Basic version.
