Mead & Hunt, a Madison-based engineering and architectural firm, has announced that it’s merging with QLH, a Florida water resources consulting and engineering firm.
QHL, based in Port Orange, Fla., has essentially joined Mead & Hunt and will become a Mead & Hunt company.
Rajan Sheth, CEO and Chairman of Mead & Hunt, says the firm has been seeking a design partner to expand its water and wastewater services, and it has been working to expand its footprint in the southeastern United States.
QHL’s roots began in municipal engineering and it continues to have a strong public agency client base in central Florida. The firm, which employs 32 people with civil and environmental engineering and construction backgrounds, also was a pioneer in wastewater treatment and reclaimed water technology.
