Madison technology company MdotLabs closed on its first financing round with commitments for $1.25 million. Chicago Ventures and Great Oaks Venture Capital led the investments. A spinoff of Broadcast Interactive Media, MdotLabs makes technology to ward off computer virus networks. The company has 12 employees.
