Madison Development Corp. (MDC) in partnership with the city of Middleton, the Wisconsin Department of Administration, First Business Bank, WHEFA, United Way of Dane County, Forward Community Investments, and the Middleton Area Development Corp. celebrated the opening of MDC’s 52-unit affordable housing project “The Mill Apartments” at 6908 Century Ave. in Middleton.
The Mill Apartments include units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms, with rents ranging from $905 to $1,950 per month. The building also features a fitness room, community room, underground parking, a “work from home” office suite, and more. All first-floor units are universally designed (some with roll-in showers or accessible tubs), and all units are visitable to people of all mobility levels.
MDC owns and manages 429 units of affordable workforce housing in Dane County.
