The village of McFarland is set to receive a $250,000 Community Development Investment Grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp., according to a release from the organization. The funds will assist the village in building a new three-story, 47-unit apartment complex with commercial frontage as well as a new stand-alone commercial building on a currently vacant Farwell Street property. The two-phase project is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
