McFarland Police Chief Aaron Chapin announced his resignation, WKOW reports. The McFarland Village Board accepted the resignation at its meeting on Tuesday.
The village expects to appoint an interim chief by the end of this month. Sergeant Nate Jacobsen will assume Chapin’s duties until that time.
The final decision on a permanent replacement will be made by the Police and Fire Commission, likely in the first few months of 2025.
