McFarland State Bank has gifted a former branch office to Stoughton Hospital. The property, at 3162 County Highway B in the town of Pleasant Springs, is valued at over $1.4 million.

“We’re very happy to be giving back to the hospital and continuing our support for the communities we both serve,” stated E. David Locke, chairman/CEO of McFarland State Bank, in a release.

It wasn’t the first time the bank gifted property. Last fall, it donated its former downtown Stoughton bank building and parking lot, valued at just over $1.5 million, to the city of Stoughton. It is now the Stoughton City Hall.
