McDonald’s announced its quarter-four earnings on Wednesday, and Axios reported that the chain saw U.S. sales climb 6.8%, and global sales rise 5.7%.
For the year, global sales reached $139 billion.
McDonald’s has said it has seen a lower turnout for low-income consumers, but more visits from high-income diners.
It has also introduced numerous meal deals and discount offerings to help sales.
CEO Chris Kempczinski said in a statement that the company’s “value leadership is working.”
