The Tech Council Innovation Network luncheon on Thursday, May 9, will feature three former Governor’s Business Plan Contest (BPC) winners – all women who used the contest as a springboard for their businesses. The luncheon will be held at the UW–Milwaukee Innovation Accelerator at 1225 Discovery Parkway in Wauwatosa.
Panelists include:

2023 BPC winner Katy Jinkins, co-founder and chief executive officer of SixLine Semiconductor, a Middleton-based company working with conductive materials for wireless devices and computing;

Laura King, winner of the 2014 BPC with her former company Elucent Medical, a medical device company that developed a new detection system for locating breast cancer for surgical procedures; and
-
Janet Phillips, 2007 BPC winner and founder of Vector Surgical, which supplies tissue orientation systems that provide accurate and secure delineation of specimen margins in cancer surgery.
Joe Kremer, director of the Tech Council Investor Networks, will moderate this event.
