Maurie’s closing

A long-time chocolatier on Monroe Street will close its doors on Dec. 29.

Maurie’s Fine Chocolates owner, Cher Mandel Diamond, said it was a personal decision to close the shop, which has been selling chocolates at 1637 Monroe St. since 1993, according to The Capital Times.
