Thanks to a generous donor, gifts to Madison College’s Cupboard Student Food Pantry will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000 through May 3.

According to a statement, an estimated 35% of students at Madison College experience food insecurity

“No student should have to choose between paying rent and having a meal,” said Bryan Woodhouse, CEO of the Madison College Foundation. “This matching challenge is an opportunity for our community to come together in a powerful way  to double their impact and directly support students working hard to build a better future.”

A $25 donation provides a week’s worth of groceries for one student. A $200 donation provides hot lunch vouchers for 20 students.
