Madison College has established CampBUILD to introduce girls to the skilled trades. The program is a partnership between the college and Badgerland Girl Scouts. This week, high school girls will be pouring concrete slabs and making three-legged stools at the college’s campus at 2125 Commercial Ave., and middle school girls will be making tree wrap benches with women who are in the trades. CampHERO was also launched by the college to give girls hands-on experience in protective services.
