Marinette Marine Corp. will build an additional 11 response boats for the U.S. Coast Guard as part of a multi-year contract. The increase brings the total number of boats under contract to 250, with production to be done at Marinette Marine’s ACE Marine facility in Green Bay and Kvichak Marine Industries in Kent, Wash., near Seattle. The 11 new boats have an approximate value of $23.9 million, raising the total contract value to about $600 million.
