Marcus Palace Cinema honored for hiring practices

In recognition of Marcus Palace Cinema’s diverse and inclusive hiring practices, the business has received an Exemplary Employer award signed by Gov. Tony Evers, according to a release from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD). Marcus Theatre’s area manager Tom Reichelt connected with the DWD’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) about workforce needs and to create a statewide initiative connecting individuals with disabilities with employment opportunities. At any given moment, DVR is working with 15,000 individuals around the state who are preparing themselves or ready to join the workforce.
