Marcus Corporation, founded in Ripon and headquartered in Milwaukee, celebrated its 90th anniversary on Saturday, with Gov. Tony Evers signing a proclamation designating Nov. 1 as Marcus Corporation Day.
The company owns movie theaters, hotels and resorts, including the Pfister Hotel, Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel, Hilton Milwaukee, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and Hilton Madison Monona Terrace.
Marcus is a third-generation, family-led company, owning 985 screens at 78 theatres in 17 states and 16 hotels, resorts and other properties in eight states.
The company has provided more than 25,000 volunteer hours in Wisconsin over the last five years.
