Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) has launched the MAMA Cares Musician Relief Fund to provide emergency funding for Madison-area performing musicians impacted by the loss of income due to COVID-19, according to a statement from the organization.
The fund will provide monetary awards to self-employed and independent contractor musicians living in the Madison area who are losing work and wages due to COVID-19. The organization reported it has raised $51,000 toward its $250,000 goal. Musicians can apply online for relief funding.
