Mallatt’s owner Mike Flint closed down the retail pharmacies at his four stores last fall but hoped to continue with his popular costume shops. Now he’s decided to close them all for good, although costumes will reportedly be sold online.
The Williamson Street store, once a Schafer Pharmacy, is already closed. The store’s flagship on Monroe Street will likely close this week, and stores in Lodi and Waunakee have leases through October, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
Flint will continue to focus on two Mallatt’s Homecare Pharmacies, long-term care pharmacies he owns in Madison and Milwaukee.
