Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin will open its newest retail store and donation center on Madison’s west side on June 5. This new location aims to expand Goodwill’s programs and services in the community.

The store was developed to increase access to affordable goods and create more opportunities for employment and job training in the region. It is expected to process 50,000 to 60,000 or more donations annually, diverting thousands of pounds of reusable items from landfills through resale.

The West Towne location also will create 25 new jobs across multiple positions, including managers, cashiers, donation attendants, production workers and retail associates.
