Madison-based Amulet Scientific announced the commercial release of the Amulet, the world’s smallest battery-powered, handheld potentiostat, an electrochemical instrument that provides portable detection technology for research institutions conducting fieldwork, industrial teams performing rapid on-site analysis, environmental agencies monitoring contamination, educators teaching hands-on principles and more.
The Amulet also connects to the Amulet Scientific app via Bluetooth to help users log and visualize data, automate and customize data processing, annotate for experimental runs, transmit device updates and transfer Amulet measurements to any compatible device.
After securing $5.8 million in Series A financing led by HealthX Ventures in 2024, Amulet is now scaling its operations to commercialize and meet growing demand for electrochemical technology platforms. The company has expanded its scientific and product development team while building on its partnerships with universities, government agencies and research institutions.
