Madison yogurt sweeps category at World Championships

At the World Championship Cheese Contest, a three-day international cheese competition held this year in Madison, Yodelay Yogurt won all three top spots in the drinkable cultured products category, according to a story in the Wisconsin State Journal. The Madison company’s rhubarb Swiss yogurt won first place, scoring a 99.95, the highest of all cheeses in the competition.

The competition is the largest technical cheese, butter, and yogurt competition in the world with a record 3,667 entries from 26 nations, according to an Associated Press story.
