The Madison West DMV will close and move to a new location in June, WMTV15 reports. The former location is scheduled to close on June 13 at 4:45 p.m., with the new spot opening on June 17 at 8:30 a.m.
According to the announcement from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the current service center at 8417 Excelsior Drive will become the Madison Southwest DMV and move to 2344 S. Park St. Officials say the new location will promote easier access and visibility off the Beltline highway. It also falls on Madison’s Bus Rapid Transit north–south route.
The Madison East DMV and online options will continue to be available.
