Madison vet to offer new arthritis treatment for dogs

Madison Veterinary Specialists is now performing Synovetin OA treatments for elbow arthritis in dogs, according to a release from the clinic. The medical radiotherapeutic treatment, which is offered by Dr. John Silbernagel, reduces the inflammation and pain of osteoarthritis for up to one full year. Nearly 25% of dogs in the U.S. suffer from osteoarthritis, causing pain, lameness, limping, limited movement, and a poor quality of life.
