Madison to hire crossing guards for several locations

The city of Madison Traffic Engineering Division is hiring qualified candidates to work part-time as school crossing guards, according to a release from the city. The time commitment for crossing guards is typically 10–15 hours per week, dependent on the assigned location. The first round of interviews will be in mid-August with training anticipated in late August, approximately one week before school starts. Hiring will occur continuously until all of the positions are filled or until the posting officially closes.
