Gambling.com Group has agreed to acquire Roto Sports Inc., operator of Madison-based RotoWire, a provider of fantasy sports news and advice, for $27.5 million. The purchase will allow Charlotte, North Carolina-based Gambling.com to accelerate its U.S. expansion, according to a release from the company. The company is a provider of player acquisition services for the regulated global online gambling industry. The purchase is expected to close in early January 2022, subject to customary closing conditions. RotoWire had more than 100,000 paid subscriptions and more than 17 million unique web visitors in the last 12 months.
