Madison-based Propeller Health has captured 90% of the U.S. market for asthma and COPD inhaler medications after gaining FDA clearance to connect its platform to Symbicort, according to a release.
Symbicort is made by AstraZeneca and is used to treat both asthma and COPD. Propeller’s platform allows usage tracking for inhalers with an app that can be accessed by the patient or care provider.
Propeller Health is a wholly owned subsidiary of ResMed.
