Madison school board votes for teacher and staff vaccine requirement

The Madison School Board unanimously voted to require COVID-19 vaccinations for all Madison school teachers and staff by Nov. 1, 2021, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. Teachers and staff declining the vaccine for medical or religious reasons will be tested twice per week. The mandatory staff vaccination plan was proposed by district administration and approved on Sept. 27.
