According to a new report by Stessa looking at the U.S. locations that have experienced the largest growth in housing between 2010 and 2020, the Madison metro area experienced a 16.2% increase in new housing units, compared to the national increase of 6.5%. The increase in new housing units for the state was 4.5% for the same period.
