A new report from WalletHub ranked Madison No. 19 among 2022’s Best Large Cities to Start a Business. The ranking is based on 20 key indicators of startup viability comparing 100 U.S. cities. Madison ranked high in these factors:
- First for financing accessibility;
- 14th for office-space affordability;
- Sixth for the percentage of residents who are fully vaccinated;
- Seventh for the share of college-educated population; and
- 10th for industry variety.
